OutSystems Software Developer

As Software Developer OutSystems, one of the leading low code development platforms, you work on a groundbreaking ICT solution for the Dutch first line health care market. This extensive application in a complex environment will bring the right digital experience for health care workers throughout the country, not just now but indeed also in the future. When it comes to bringing solutions to the first line health care, we prefer to set the standard instead of following it, thus continuing to show our product leadership.

What are you going to do?
You are part of an international scrum team, located both in Utrecht as well as in Lisbon. You are jointly responsible for the further development of our current solution, which will be extended with a lot of new functionality in the coming years. Your most important task is to develop software with the OutSystems platform, and deliver value to our customers.

Next to that, you are part of our OutSystems expertise group, where standards and guidelines are set to get the most out of the platform. You also think along in making user stories, work on the technical design of the application and support the testers where necessary. Some real gurus are part of our team, so there’s plenty of opportunity to develop yourself towards a real full stack developer! The team works with a constant agile philosophy in mind.

Who are you?
We are looking for a dedicated developer who feels involved in the healthcare sector. In this role, you are able to creatively convert user stories into concrete solutions, working closely together with the various disciplines within and outside your squad. Development of software is done accurately, with a lot of attention to the result. You are proactive, socially and driven, but also creative, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented. While working in a team you take responsibility for your own work and you know knowledge sharing with your colleagues is necessary. Of course you are enthusiastic and passionate about the latest developments in your field.

What do you bring to the table?
– An IT related bachelor’s degree at HBO or Academic level
– At least 5 of development experience, at least 3 years with web applications, in various business environments
– Minimum of 3 years of experience with both front end as well as back end developing with OutSystems
– You have hands on know-how of Java and/or .NET, Javascript, SQL, HTML5, CSS or XML
– A good knowledge of application architecture, relational databases and data modelling
– You are analytically strong, result-oriented, a strong team player, social and flexible
– A pro-active attitude and you actively contribute to new technological developments
– And always eager to learn and further develop your skills.
